Next Saturday, April 10th is the annual art auction at our local arts center. Double check that, though, because I was all set to attend the opening reception last night...turns out that it was held the night before. I my not be the best source for event info. If you are going to be in the Lawrence, KS area next weekend, you can find details on the auction here. The featured artist is Carol Ann Carter, an artist that often works with textiles.
