Let the Fabric do the Work

I was asked to make a quilt for a baby who's room is being decorated in "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" theme. For a while, I thought about trying to make my own version of the caterpillar and his travels in fabric, and then I found that there is printed fabric available in just this very theme right now. So, I ordered up a selection and the following quilt was made...with a lot less effort than an original work. Why not?
