There are SO MANY talented folks out there, and so many of them blog. It truly is an amazing resource of inspiration and information. One of my favorite blogs is Molly Chicken. If you go to the page that I have linked to and scroll down a bit, you can see the inspiration for these two small sock creatures that I just finished. I tried to give them teeth, using some old rick rack, and I also weighted their bottoms so they have a fighting chance of sitting upright. Otherwise, the weight of their crazy eyes just topples them right over! I thought I could whip up a half dozen or so of these guys in an hour or two...but so far I have only whipped up two in a half dozen days or so...

Linda, these are fabulous! Makes me wish the washer/dryer would eat one of my socks, so I would have an odd one to experiment with! LOL

Oh how I lo9ve sock friends but have never taken a chance at making one or two or five. I know they would be addisctive to me. Yours are so cute. Love the teeth, what a great idea using rickrack for that.
