I took this picture on a beach in southwestern Australia because I liked the contrasts between the positive and negative spaces where the rocks had been worn away by the wind and waves. The picture was taken in a vertical format, but later, when I looked at the picture with a horizontal orientation, I began to see skulls. Now the picture has a creepy, Phantom of the Opera feel to me. I think I need to revisit this picture next fall for a Halloween project.
Gee, Linda, it makes me think of waffles!
