February 28th is the last day for the "Lovers, Chocolate & Other Addictions" show at the 1109 Gallery. I entered one of my "Paisley Bird Banners", "Loony" and "Fast Food gets a Greasy Stamp of Approval". Next up at the gallery is a show with a March Madness theme that opens March 3rd. There is a great tutorial for turning photos into cartoons that can be printed with a Gocco here. I think that those of you with thermofaxes could use the same steps to produce artwork for your screens too. The software (GIMP) that the Melbourne folks used is free and with their step by step instructions, the results are fun. No doubt, Photoshop can be used the same way....but don't look at me... I can't tell you how.

So, we are up to November 2009 now with the Artist Trading Card swap. The theme was orange. Below are the cards I made for the swap, which I called "Orange Oranges". We decided that we would give ourselves an extra month for next theme, so February is the deadline for White cards. Hopefully, I'll be closer to on time with that batch of cards!
