Illustration Friday: Choose

This week's Illustration Friday theme is "Choose". Can I leave birds out of the illustration? Probably not. Here is a piece of hand dyed fabric that I tried printing raindrop shapes on in two colors. The blue print showed up well, but the dark tan print was rather faint. I thought I could emphasize the tan shapes by outlining them with black ink. Then the blue shapes seemed to need outlining too....then they all needed eyes, beaks and feet. I just can't help myself. How does this illustrate Choose? The birds must choose whether to stay or fly away. They must choose whether to look left or right. They must choose whether to blend in or stand out!
