It seems as if a lot has been going on in my household this month. Most of it good, but most of it distracting and time consuming. Our older daughter moved out to her own apartment. We finally finished up finishing our attic and younger daughter moved up to that shiny new space. This seemed like a good time to dig through and thin out all of her accumulated stuff, so we have been working on that. She turned twenty this last spring...and all I can think is WHERE THE HECK DID THAT TWENTY YEARS GO? (And why did we buy so many t-shirts and Beenie Babies and erasers and crayons and markers and keychains and notepads?) Today we finished up her move to the upstairs just in time for her to pack and leave for her junior year in college. We loaded up boxes of bedding and dorm room necessities to ship out yesterday. Hopefully the rest will fit in her luggage for the plane ride tomorrow, and hopefully it will not weigh too much.
Her old room is slated to become the new home office of our dreams, LOL. I have about half of the "bought for the new baby" wallpaper pulled off, and plans for new paint in a cool baby blue.
Despite all of these excuses for not blogging much this month, the main problem is me and my camera. It turns out that even though there is a menu button to click for white balance/light source correction...nothing happens when it is clicked. So I need to learn how to use a different camera, and THAT is quite a roadblock to progress.
Tomorrow is the start of a new month, and the first day of the rest of my life, and yada yada. Learning something new will not kill me....learning something new will not kill me....
